Die Wiener Volkshochschulen GmbH, Volkshochschule Meidling, vienna

For many years the Volkshochschule Meidling has been co-operating with different institutions in offering special programmes for people with disabilities and especially older and retired people. Together with trade unions and their pensioners section IT-courses have been set up and within a couple of years great expertise has been gained on how to reach older people, how to keep them in the educational process and how to be innovative in meeting the needs of older people.
