Volkshochschule Vaterstetten
The Volkshochschule Vaterstetten is one of 80 adult education centres (Volkshochschulen) in Bavaria (Germany). The vhs Vaterstetten develops and offers an educational program in the following educational areas: health, languages, culture and creativity, vocational training, policy and economy. The Volkshochschule Vaterstetten works on a regional level and is located in an area where many elderly people are living. Since many years the Volkshochschule Vaterstetten cooperates with different institutions and offers special programmes for elderly and retired people, but also for families. 2 years ago the vhs Vaterstetten started developing a type of university for elderly people with the aim to intensive the social cohesion between this target group and to integrate them into the longlife learning process.
